Welcome to our site!  We are in the process of setting up a progressive site that will offer fun and inexpensive ways of mastering the English Language.  After an exhaustive search to find good, inexpensive English courses for our new spanish-speaking daughter-in-law Fabiola to use, we realized that there is not much out there that is under the $250 range to help you attain your goal of speaking English.  For this reason, this site has been launched.  Each week we will be adding programs and ideas to help you with your quest to learn English for free, or at least cheaper than what is out there!  We will also be reviewing books and programs that are currently out there to give you suggestions as to which are the most comprehensive and helpful.  So check back with us each week, and in the meantime, please feel free to post any ideas or suggestions that you may have for us, or any specific questions that you need help with.  We have included a page on 20 of the most common phrases needing to be translated.  If you would like to have a phrase translated beyond these, please feel free to post it to us.  Click on Fabiola’s answers to find what she wanted to know when she first arrived in America, and the answers that she found.  They are really helpful!   

Just a little about us:  My husband is an Engineer and I am a certified teacher.  We are both fluent in Spanish as is our son and his wife, and have taught Spanish to our kids for many years.  We traveled to Peru this last year and truly enjoyed getting to know the Peruvian people and their culture.  My son and his wife Fabiola, who is from Peru, will be helping with the programs offered and we will be tracking Fabiola’s progress as she uses the ideas posted here at this site to learn the Basic English language.  So come follow us in this great adventure of learning American English!
